Job Description

SH Summer Academy staff members have the opportunity to work with youth from all over the region and have a positive effect on their lives. We are looking for individuals who are sociable, responsible, and like to work with youth. Athletic or activity experience is required, as staff members regularly interact with the participants when they are at their sports or activity sessions. Staff member positions are coaching, teaching, and leadership positions. Before applying, please read the following general information.

Staff Member Duties

As a SH Summer Sports Academy staff member, you will help out during Monday morning registration (times will vary according to your specific clinic). For each week that you work, you will be assigned a group of participants with whom you will supervise and interact during the clinic activities. Dependable and accountable staff members are a key to the success of these activities.

Work Schedule for Clinic Counselors

• Monday – Thursday   Friday Rain Date
• Registration and Clinic Set-Up: 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (Starting times will vary; about 30 minutes of work.)
• Checkouts: Checkout times will vary. (You are required to check out your participants each day.)
